still in control

so where is the love? it's not anything like that of 'love actually' but this love has been around for a time longer than we all know... it's the love that has been given freely to all of us but at the price of one person, who bore it on the cross, for you and me...

back from cell group not too long ago and we just watched this video on 'christ in china'... it's so encouraging to see how the love of God has touched and changed the lives of many and more than wonderful, is how they lived with so much faith... we were saying that it could most likely be due to the situations that they were in, that you really see God working and all... whereas for us, we are just so glad to remain in our comfort zones such that we feel that everything can be controlled by us... and that, i really do agree to it...

guess it's in times when things start to go wrong and God seems so distant and so quiet, then we have our faith truly tested... and we start doubting and question WHY???? sometimes, we just get so harden up that we don't see God in the picture anymore... but God allows things to happen... He didn't promise everything to be smooth-sailing but He is still in control... it's hard to believe but it's true...

to my friend, if you ever read my post... just want to encourage you on... i really have no idea what to say to you, but do not lose faith... though it's not easy but God is still there... call on Him, He's actually waiting for you to call out to Him... He is still in control...
