finally returned to home... after spending 4 days in the wonderful land of nussu secretariat cr1... having an average of 4 hours of sleep each day, which is not enough for me...
what were we doing?? NUS RAG 2004... which was peppered with hick-ups but thanks be to God, everything worked out just fine... spent the entire of yesterday till 3am, looking through the income statements of all the halls and faculties... and boy, some were so thick, they totally turned me off... and yes, thanks to sonia [last year's rag head]... without your help, i won't be able to handle the score tabulation at all...
clearing up was pretty fun but tiring.. not only do we had to run to prevent the canvas from flying up, we had to run after people who were running on the src track during the preparation period.. and today, we had to run after the lorries which came to pick up the props after the event... my goodness, it was a test of my running skills, considering that i was in the wrong footwear as well.. the comm was so tired, we just fell asleep on the src track while trying to clear up the confetti, which was all over the grass area...
we finally went back to cr1 at about 6pm... and boy, we took one hour before proceeding for dinner!!! no prizes for guessing it right, we had macdonalds for dinner again!!! faith/ siosen/ meiyan/ leetong/ kelvin/ jerry/ huiying/ trevor... haven't seen jerry laughed so happily for a really long time... mounting day operations totally got to him... thank God that everything went well despite the many hick-ups... we were talking about all the participating bodies/ osa/ the guests and all... you can literally sense relief in the air... but sadness as well.. afterall, we have been working on rag for almost half a year.. revising our plans so many times.. and now, all has ended...
today marks the end of my labour period... all 3 of my orientation projects have come to an end.. as much as i dreaded the projects, i love them as much and just want to thank God for this opportunity.. painful and stressful at times but i learnt more of myself and people management.. well, it may be a blessing in disguise..
but meanwhile, SLEEP is essential!!!
