woke up at what i deemed as an unearthly hour of 0630hr to go for this program at huayi secondary school.. yeah, felt pretty old there, esp. since there were facilitators which are from other sec. schs as well.. and the class which i was attached to comprised of sec. 1... the last bunch of sec. 1 which i saw and had contact with, are presently sec. 3 students... sheesh.. time flies...
a pretty fun bunch of kids that i was attached to.. chee peng came late and freaked the heck out of me coz i knew absolutely no one there.. despite me being pretty sociable, apprehensive is still present.. thank God for approachable facilitators.. but was there more as an observer than a facilitator... but i had loads of fun.. valid reason to account for the fact that i skipped pdc make-up lecture!!! *laughs*...
the program ran was actually on something which i've done many years ago.. that which brought back some memories.. pieces which i prefer to remember and pieces which i prefer to forget.. anyway, it was the D-I-S-C personality/ working style test.. yeah, did that test back in upper sec..

hmm... it's not shocking, considering how much i've changed since sec. sch days... but just surprised that my S-component is pretty low now.. guess that i've just became more reckless and less stable.. more loud and less quiet... but i still do stupid things like, read the non-smoking sign in the lift while in the lift, [which is a typical trait of C-component]... and am so loud that i can be heard from a distance of more than 10 miles away, [which is typical of I-component]...
just wondering how i've changed over the years and pondering if it has been for the better or worse.. but given me a choice, i would rather be the person i am today...i will miss the stability that i once had but that does not mean that i do not have it now.. rather i have that extra thread of recklessness and loudness in me.. yeah, pak wing said he can hear me 10 miles away... so word of advice: run when you see me around, just in case i embarrass you.. just kidding.. i'm not so evil..
oh.. just an interesting observation: everyone thinks that i'm a teacher!!! oh sheesh!!! the 'cher' thing is a long-ago issue yah!!! humph!!! and once again, everyone was shocked to learn that i'm from the faculty of engineering... well, unbelieveable but it's true!!!
came home at about 3 plus to have lunch and to hitch a ride from my parents.. gave the family gathering a miss again.. for theresia's 21st birthday party!!! happy birthday!!! yeah.. and my so-called shopping trip was unfortunately cut short by rhys.. humph!!! like i said, shopping is a form of meeting civilisation for an engineer-wannabe!!! *laughs*... met many people whom i've not seen for a really long time, such as sunny/ andrew/ jooteng... it was great seeing them all.. and had such a great time catching up with alexis too...
oh yes, for once, the guys ain't talking about ns anymore!!! well, since some of them have already ord-ed... and are getting ready for uni-life.. yeah yeah!!! welcome to uni man!!! sunny and jooteng were discussing which hall to stay in.. or to rent an off-campus apartment.. it's just so weird.. hearing all these uni-stuff from them.. give it one semester, and they will forget the gals here man... wait, maybe even faster than a semester.. hicks... oh yah, sunny's gonna join the nus-family in the faculty of arts and social sciences.. cool!!! go rock nus dude!!!
oh yes, received a phone call from someone whom i've not seen for a really really long time and it was really great to hear from him.. yeah, got a call from my really-really-long-time-'brother', justin!!!! he is accepted by both the university of toronto & university of waterloo in canada.. dumb that nus rejected him.. but who cares.. go overseas!!! the experience earned will overwrite everything else.. and to add to that, he received some MVP award from microsoft.. erm, don't ask me what's that about.. but it's really cool!!! oh man!!!
before i forget, i got my mp3 player working.. pretty cool.. love it loads..
